Will YOU be interested if I set up an online boutique selling various things I personally love,
will use and wear?
The things I'll be selling are gonna be very me and my style.
So you're kinda buying a piece of me! haha
It can range from accessories to clothes to shoes (?) to anything at decent prices!

This has been on my mind for the LONGEST time and I really want to venture into something I enjoy.
Also, let me know what else you would like to see in my boutique!

Hope to hear from YOU soon! <3

Seoul with Sau!

Thursday, 25 October 2012

Annyeonghaseyo!
If you don't already know, Seoul is one of my favourite cities of all time!!!
Okay, I know every other city is my favourite city...
How about favourite Asian city?
I only have three!
Tokyo, Hong Kong and Seoul :D
I LOVE the food, language (or hearing them converse), girls, dramas, shopping.....is that enough reasons?
And of course, my favourite Sau is there!!
I'm really, really, really x1000000 hoping for good news
that somebody will give me their Seoul flight next month.
I need some spicy rice cake, bibimbap, bbq pork, strawberry shortcake, pancake and soy bean paste soup..........omggggggg.
I also need to buy more shampoo.
Please, please, PLEASE take my flight!

I was craving for bibimbap and this was pretty good!
I would love a bowl now.

Then we went for a haircut at Juno Hair!
Before I proceed, a little about the salon since I always get questions about it!

I always go to Juno Hair in Myeong Dong for haircuts whenever I'm in Seoul.
So far, I've did a perm and treatment with them, had a couple of haircuts
and my hair ALWAYS looks amazing when I step out of the salon!
On our holiday to Seoul last year, H and I went for a haircut there
and he's STILL singing praises of the cut.
Honestly, I cannot remember all my hairdressers' names but they're all skillful.
My most recent hairdresser was reallyyyyyyy handsome,
even Sau was checking him out hehehehe haha!

Okay, prices.
Perms are expensive there.
The one I did last year was approximately 200,000won but it was so pretty and natural looking!
Haircuts are cheap though!
It's only 20,000won regardless of length, I think.

I don't know the address of the salon but from what I know,
there are three Juno Hair salons in Myeong Dong alone.
I only visit the one next to the Adidas store,
just take the lift up to the 3rd level!

I loveeeeeee how they blow my hair!
It's like freaking messy yet it looks nice somehow.
I don't know why.

We went to my favourite BBQ restaurant at Myeong Dong for dinner after that!

Looking more and more Korean now

Magic potion.

As usual, we went to one of the many cafes dotting Myeong Dong for desserts.
This cafe specialises in tea and everything was infused with tea.
We stayed all the way till closing time and headed our separate ways
'cause we both had early morning flights to catch the next day. :/

Wish I had more time in Seoul.

A bundle of joy!

My sister gave birth!
I'm an aunt!!

I don't know why but in recent months, I have RAGING maternal instincts and I cannot resist babies!!! Gosh, I even find myself cooing to babies onboard when in the past, I tried all means to avoid them 'cause they are just smelly, wet, dirty, soft little wriggly things that cannot stop crying.
Now, I just want to spend ALL my working time playing with them!
WHAT HAPPENED!

It still feels so surreal staring at this precious face.

I find it so amazing that this little angel was a part of my sister for 9 months,
and to finally see him in flesh, the feeling is indescribable.
(We waited long enough!!)

Hehehe my nephew is definitely cuter than yours! ;p

Fash Mob sent me two items which I TOTALLY ADORE!

Glam up your outfits with this vest!
Goes surprisingly well with my girly wardrobe
and it hides those armpit fats ;)

I see myself wearing this dress to work with a blazer,
and then for a dinner date after (without the blazer!) with my boyfriend!
The quality material is a bonus! :)

Look pretty everyday with Fash Mob! ;)))))

I'll always love Paris.

Tuesday, 16 October 2012

I flew to Paris three times in August and each time I did different activities with different people. It was always fun! I was in Paris again last week with Tricia - I've known her for years!! Our story involves lots of kissing, a Korean man, getting drunk, clubbing, and almost getting into a fight 4 years ago. Memorable? Yes, very. Sigh, feeling so nostalgic just thinking about the flight we knew each other on. Don't mean to digress but it's her last month of flying and I'm sad to know another friend leaving and that was our last flight together. Funny how we met when I just started flying and we met again when she's leaving ;(

So yes, Paris. I was waiting for my packed dinner when I realised I'll always love Paris. I'll always love the city despite its dirty metro stations, despite how terrible the gipsy/kids are and despite _____ (whatever you think of). Paris holds a very special place in my heart and I've been there with some of the best people whom I'm still friends with so it is an extremely memorable place for me. I'm gonna miss flying to the City of Love on a regular basis.

Didn't mean for this to be a sappy entry. I was gonna post some pictures of the beautiful city. Enjoy! :)

Loved it but I decided to pass

Got these! HUGE earrings ;)

SO GOOD

 That's how they do it!

 awww :')

SO DAMN CUTE OMG I WANT A DAUGHTER LIKE HER!!!

 hahaha just look at her!!!

A year my junior in poly!

 Summer in Paris

 Little boy's got a tan! ;)

 Picnic under Eiffel! :)

And the start of timer shots...

After all these shots, a group of gipsy kids attempted to steal from us >:(
I can only say...LUCKILY we were preparing to leave so we already kept everything valuable
except for my colleague's iPhone, where she left it on the mat, beside her thigh.

The bunch of 5-6 kids surrounded us suddenly,
flapping metro maps trying to divert our attention...
I thought they were definitely up to no good 'cause they weren't talking or asking us for money, etc.
Then from the corner of my eye, I saw this boy about five, squatting down beside C,
using a map to shield the iPhone he was about to pocket!
I warned C in time and she caught hold of his hand.
C hit his hand numerous times forcing him to let go which he refused
while another kid towering behind her was hitting her head, asking HER to let go.
Over on my end, this big girl was flapping the map in my face for foiling their plan.
When they FINALLY gave up,
they did their round in the park looking for other easy targets
but their plan failed so they came back to our group.
One gave me a hard slap on my head as they were leaving!!!
When C hit her back, another kid slapped her head too!!
KIDS THESE DAYS!!!

That incident kinda dampened our otherwise perfect day >:(
Just be careful the next time you're in Paris.
Don't be an easy target!

Very serious business going on here.
