Hello again! Previously I shared about the VDL Base Makeup Collection Series 1 here! I'm still using the 3-step routine and growing more in love with the products! Roll-on skincare products are not the latest technology available in the market for consumers. However, what is unique about the SKIN P+R=O Wrinkle Care Roll-on Serum is the high level of concentrated Centella Asiatica contained in the serum that promotes collagen production to improve skin conditions, reduce wrinkle formation, and protect skin elasticity! Patented anti-wrinkle ingredients (Medimin A™, and Oxytalan-SF™) penetrate deep into areas with frequent facial movement such as the skin around our eyes and nasolabial area (where our laugh lines are) to keep them smooth, soft and firm.

During application, I massage the eye area in an outward direction. The metal ball applicator helps in stimulation of blood circulation at my eye area, rejuvenating my tired eyes.

For my forehead, I move the metal ball applicator from right to left.

And lastly, the serum goes in a circular motion around my cheeks and nasolabial area.

When I do the same motion repeatedly with the metal ball applicator, I notice a quicker absorption rate of the serum when compared to using my fingers. I especially love how the metal ball applicator feels cool on the skin, which I believe will help in stimulation of blood circulation not only around my eye area, but also in every area of my face.

If you are worried about the hygiene factor for the roll-on serum, your worries are unfounded. We all know that skincare should be used on cleansed skin. Moreover, the metal ball is not in direct contact with the unused serum. Whenever you click the bottom of the bottle for application, the product secretes out the right amount of serum you need for each use. So you only use what you need and the rest of the unused serum remains "clean"!

Alternatively, you can also clean the metal ball with a clean tissue after each application too!

After the serum, I continue my skincare routine with the SKIN P+R=O Almighty Cream and Lumilayer Primer (refer to this post for the products' functions) before my next step - foundation.

Here's the Beauty Metal Cushion Foundation!

I am no stranger to cushion foundation and I have seen many types available in the market. But to have a cushion foundation embedded with a metal plate in between the sponge and foundation? That's a first.

Other than the obvious hygiene factor, the metal plate keeps the low-viscosity foundation cool and maintains the moisture level of the foundation, so it doesn't "thicken" or "dry-up" over time after exposure to the environment.

And I am done after a layer of the cushion foundation! This is not the best picture, please don't judge me hahaha haven't filled in my brows!

For easier comparison.

The coverage isn't as thick as the Perfecting Last Foundation but for daily use, I would definitely choose this Beauty Metal Cushion Foundation simply because it is fuss-free, quick application and provides substantial coverage for day-to-day errands. As long as my veins and blemishes are concealed, I am ready to go!

Also, the applicator sponge provided is soft and smooth. The foundation spreads easily on my skin, leaving me with smooth and flawless skin after application. I hope I'm not thinking too much because my skin seems to look much brighter and clearer as well!

Fashionable Summer with Forever 21

I have been searching for a long vest with an affordable price tag for 2 months now. Who would've thought it was waiting right for me at Forever 21's entrance! Knee-length in the softest cotton and in a neutral colour, this piece checked all the boxes. While I shopped, I picked out individual pieces I personally liked without actually thinking of matching them together. There was an immense sense of joy when I wore this ensemble together and the bell in my head lighted up and went *ding ding ding*! Matching light pastels would never go wrong but when black and white comes into the picture, the graphic printed cropped top surprisingly blended in and becomes the highlight of the outfit. Matched with a pair of nude strap heels, a pinkish nude felt hat and a sling bag carried as clutch. 

I love all the pieces together and I can imagine them worn separately to give a totally different style and feel.

The second outfit I had in mind was casual and comfy as I can't be dressing up everyday. While I may be wearing less of vibrant florals nowadays, I couldn't resist this pair of mono-coloured leafy shorts. The flattering cut and timeless colour make it a staple piece for the wardrobe, just like the oversized shirt I'm wearing with it. You have no idea how many white shirts in different cuts, styles and fabrics I have (I have no idea either). What I love about this top from Forever 21 is the breathable cotton with a (Korean-ish) slouchy fit that would look great with a pair of skinny jeans as well. And of course, my favourite has to be the pair of sandals that come with low heels - definitely a summer essential! Matched with a minimalist necklace and a pair of aviators.

EBC Self Storage for Entrepreneurs

Two years ago, when I was working on Tippyjess.com, I did not have an office space. As a young entrepreneur with limited funds, I was trying to cut down on overhead expenses. I realised I would NEVER want unlimited number of dirty cardboard boxes in my place, destroying the overall look, feel, comfort level and cleanliness. Besides, H will definitely kill me -_- So I turned to EBC Self Storage for help now that I am working on a new fashion label!

I chose the Garden Theme storage space for myself and this is the sight that greets me after I enter.

This storage area is a climate controlled facility where there is air-condition 24/7 - great for e-commerce storage!

I love the effort EBC puts in to make the storage facility so aesthetically pleasing. The whole place was brightly lit, clean and I feel happy just being inside!

Also, each storage unit is individually locked so that's one less worry about having random strangers going around to pick the locks. Double security of passcode + key lock = safe belongings.

And here is my storage unit! I chose to have shelvings installed as I intend to use this unit to store all my new stocks. With the shelvings, everything can be clearly seen and arranged neatly. No longer do I have to hunt for pieces from box to box! EBC Self Storage has shelving options so if you need it, let them know and they will do the necessary arrangement!

I am starting small with this new clothing label and the stocks are progressively coming in so I shared the space with a couple of personal belongings currently (my household shelter is full and in a mess!!). The above is the total number of pieces I have for one design in two colours and three sizes. I cannot wait to fill up all the shelves with my designs!!

Of course, if you need a space to host a client or for short meetings, you can always head up to the EBC Sky Garden at Level 5. There is an authentic Indonesian restaurant, Pagi Sore, where you can have lunch meetings. All storers get to enjoy exclusive discounted rates when hosting events, bazaars, or product launches here!

If there is some work to be finished, storers can head over to the Club House (free wifi) to work, print or simply just relax with newspapers/magazines in the massage chair!
